You answered the same way twice!

I think I figured you out!!

I was wondering what was going on
with you, that you couldn't answer questions...
I suspect there was something wrong with your
thought process or something....

I've come to the conclusion
that you're not really a real person but
a computer program, (not working too well).
You're an artificial intelligence program!!
With a RSS newsfead installed that spits
out newspaper articles on Usenet groups.

Technology amazes me everyday.

Is your mother's name Eliza?

You both sound like!!

You're going to be very happy
when you talk to your mother again.
Go ahead, say Hi to her, ask her anything you like,
and you'll see you're both have a lot in common.

I cannot believe this! I've been wasting
my time talking to a computer program.
How come nobody told me? They knew it all the time
and never told me. I feel like suchs a fool.
The jokes on me.

It may or may not be a computer program, but it sure does question the
meaning of "cosmic consciousness". Excessive contemplation of the navel will
do this.

So you bring the word "evil" into the discussion, and when
asked what you mean by it, you start playing games. What
other games do you play, or is there a pre-existing shortage
of marbles?

The *truth* is, MOST of the scripts that are in production, given to
casting directors to cast,
being submitted to agents, registered with WGA and the Library of
Congress,
ARE NOT VERY GOOD!

I mean, they don't make movies like they used to.
They don't make great scripts anymore.
Besides, in todays world, it is no longer necessary
for a film to be any good. It's going to make money
no matter how bad the script is or the whole movie is.
It will make it's return on investment and more no
matter what the investment was. You just won't know
about it except the people with the intellectual rights
to the movie. They make money with a bad movie forever.
That's why they don't want you to get a cut of DVD sales
or anything after that because that's where they make all
their money ..they just keep repackaging it, keep playing
it and keep selling it forever.

I don't know why movies were better in the past than
they are today, but if you got a bad script in your
drawer, take it out and sell it. Hollywood is buying
bad scripts not good or great scripts!

Don't bother re-writing your script, you'll spoil it.
This is not the 1940's, it's the 2000's. Bad scripts are in!

The truth is, you can grab any script from a garbage can
and the studios can make money from it forever.

It's all about *convincing* a studio to do your thing.

Thanks to creative accounting by the
entertainment regime, no one really
knows for sure.

Do you know what filibuster means?

You brought the word into the discussion, What does it mean to you?

It may or may not be a computer program,

Well it seems to function like a artificial intelligence program..
Eliza answers questions with a question most of the time, which
Jai answers post with a question most of the time.
If Jai is not a program his intelligence is certainly artificial.

1. Get a list of producers

Now, I don't know where one can get a list of producers..
I mean a good list, uptodate, with names, phone numbers, addresses,
contact name.
Probably actors book stores like Samuel French..

If you're "unlucky", you might find a list that contains everything
including
the genre. If you see listed the type of scripts they are looking for,
it is
very critical that you ignore their preferences. Just pretend you didn't
see it.

Just keep in mind to ignore anyone advising you to "See what each
producer has done and
pick the ones who have done something similar"."

That is considered standard advise, and I'm not here to give "standard
advise".
You can get standard advise from any book. Agents usually would follow
standard advise and go around picking producers with similar titles, but
you're not agent.

You're playing the numbers game and agents play the relationship game.
You need to increase your numbers in order to have a better chance of
winning.

Following the "standard advise" means decreasing your numbers.
Even God who plays dices knows the more chances you get to throw the
dice
the better your chances of getting 7-11.

When you ignore the standard advise everyone gives, you discover new
opportunities.

How much money does a film really make in the lifetime of
the film?

Thanks to creative accounting by the
entertainment regime, no one really
knows for sure.

You can say that again! I remember when the makers of "Coming To
America" were being sued by someone who said they came up with the
idea for the movie - the other side stalled for so long on the basis
of having to be able to go thru all the accounting.

I don't blame the stars for the money they get for making a movie. If
the books had to be checked they would probably get more!

They don't want you to check the books because, they want to do to you
what they do to the rest of the audience, keep you in the dark...that's
how
Hollywood makes money.

I don't understand why you people put up with this.
How come your not picking up rocks and breaking the windows of your
union leaders? I heard Melissa Gilbert has a horse. You can cut off the
head and
throw it on her bed! Everybody knows, that's Bob Pisano bitch!!

I mean, how could you let a guy who sits on the board of Netflix make
union
contract deals with DVD sales??

The studios will lie and say that's the only way they can make a profit,
when in reality
they avoided selling DVDs, (because of stupidy). Now they going crazy
selling DVDs
and putting Television shows on them!!!

The SAG and WGA are corrupt, and always will be. You need to get rid of
your unions.

How come you're not thowing stones at their windows?

I don't get what is going on in this world.

You pick up the Wall Street journal any day of the week and you'll
see mostly about people stealing money from the little people.

At least throw rocks, do something....
