First-Run Movies Coming Home
Wall Street Journal reports that Morgan Freeman and his movie company,
Revelations Entertainment, will join Intel to bypass multiplexes and
distribute first-run movies directly home via the Internet. "We`re not
pushing this technology - - the technology is pushing us," Freeman said.
Previously movies that pass the theatres and go direct to video were
percieved as good, but Freeman said going directly to the internet can be
seen as something cool.
