Gas Plasma TVs are getting cheaper, especially in the 42" range I'm
considering. But I know we'll still be watching a lot of 4x3 on it.

Since I don't find either fat people or cropped people a proper way to avoid
burn-in, I need to know if it's still a problem with modern plasmas.

It seems like a logical solution would be some sort of screen saver going on
on the sides of the screen. If it's distracting, you can always throw
curtains over it.
